Hello, parents of 7East teamers! I do a lot of reading, both on and off line. I often find myself reading articles of interest to both teachers and parents. Check back here for links to articles that I hope you may find helpful, thought-provoking, or entertaining.

Students are expected to have a free-choice book at school daily, in homeroom and during Language Arts class. This book can travel between home & school, but students could also decide to have one “school” book and one “home” book, depending on what works best for them.
Students set goals for every quarter for their independent reading. We are participating in the 40 Book Challenge this year, so students will be working towards reading 40 books of their choice! Exciting!
